Where are you located?
We are located in the Lake Highlands Town Center at the corner of Walnut Hill and Skillman. If you’re coming from the North or South, the easiest way to get to us is to turn right onto Sedgwick. If you are coming from the East or West, you may turn directly off Walnut Hill into the shopping center and follow the drive all the way to the end, past Sprouts Market.
We are in the first floor of the apartments called The Haven. We are walkable to and from Sprouts, Starbucks, Fish City Grill, Jersey Mikes, Hollywood Feed, and more. Our address is 7077 Watercrest Pkwy, Suite #100, Dallas, 75231.
Where can I park?
We are so lucky to have a breadth of parking options for you. We have full access to the parking lot adjacent to our studio, as well as street parking. If your reservation is after 5pm, the parking lot gate may be closed. Feel free to park on the street or in any of the diagonal spots across the brick access road during these times.
Is your location accessible?
Yes! We are on the ground floor and are fully accessible by wheelchair. Our location is very friendly, the bathrooms have rails, and our stylists can do many services from a wheelchair as needed.
We kindly ask that if someone has special needs that include bathroom aid, chair transfers, wound care, confusion, overstimulation, etc., that there is a qualified helper or family member with the guest at all times while they are in the studio.
Do you serve beverages or food?
Our Concierge Team will offer a beverage to you at the beginning of your visit to the AE. We also have a lounge that is available to our guests. The lounge has a few options for snackables if you need a little something, as well as Keurig coffee and/or spa water all day.
Do I need to put my credit card on file?
If you would like to book a reservation with us, we require a credit card on file for all new guests and all online booking.
Will I be charged if I cancel my reservation?
Please read our full cancellation policy for information on our studio’s charges for last-minute cancellations, missed reservations, and same-day reschedules:
Our studio asks for 24 hours’ notice for all cancellations. A same-day cancellation, while more polite than a no-show, has the same cost to our salon and stylists. Any reservation that is cancelled - for any reason - with less than 24-hour notice will be charged a nonrefundable fee of $50. This fee must be charged and collected to book another reservation with any stylist.
What happens if I miss or don’t show up for my reservation?
No-call, no-show reservations will incur a 50% service charge to the guest’s account which will be billed to the card on file on the day the service was meant to occur.
How do I know if I need to book extra time?
Guests with Long (anything longer than shoulder-length) and/or very Thick Hair need to book extra time! If this applies to you, please amend your appointment by adding the additional service called “Extra Time” OR feel free to call us and let our Concierge Desk know so that we can extend your appointment appropriately. We want your stylist to be booked to take time with every guest, for every service. Unsure? Book extra time! **Please be advised that extra time may incur an additional charge.
What do I do if I’m a New Guest?
We recommend all New Guests call our studio to make their first reservation.
Our phone number is (214) 349-3888 - New Guests Booking Online: If you are a New Guest with us or you haven’t seen us in over two years and you prefer to book online, you must book your haircut as “New Women’s Cut” or “New Men’s Cut” as your service choice. Failure to book this appropriately may mean your service will be cut short.
What happens if I’m late to my reservation?
Running late? We ask that you call the studio if you know you are running late. We will try to accommodate for lateness. Our stylists do run on a schedule. We appreciate that lives get hectic and traffic happens, but late arrivals will have their services amended to fit in the time allotted for each scheduled guest.
How do I know what my service will cost?
The best way to know how much a future service will cost is to book a consultation. We can often accommodate consultations with any stylist in a day or two. A consultation with any of our talented professionals provides you, free of charge: an estimate of costs, a curated experience, a future appointment, and a hair design and styling plan for you based on your needs and collaborative recommendations.
All posted pricing is the lowest estimate at the lowest level of stylist for every service. These starting prices are often amended as additional services and charges become necessary. Full and/or final estimates cannot be given online or over the phone. If you would like a final estimate, please book your consultation today.
What do I need to bring to my consultation?
You! We will need to see your hair as it is. We will ask about your hair history (previous color, etc.), beauty budget, and an outline of the products you use on your hair regularly.
It is especially helpful to see any and all inspo pics that you find, with examples of what you do like AND what you don’t like in your desired color, cut, and/or style. If you want to book the same day and we haven’t yet collected your payment information, we will need to complete that part of your profile to book your first reservation with us.
Do I have to pay extra for my hair to be dry and styled when I leave?
All full color and cutting services include a shampoo with scalp massage, condition, professional products and recommendations, and blow dry style with a round brush.
What if I have questions after my reservation or want my hair adjusted?
We are a full-service salon and your satisfaction matters to us. During your visits to the AE, our stylists and sales professionals will share products to employ at home for healthy hair every day and offer styling techniques tailored to you and your lifestyle to ensure that your hair service lasts and that your hair continues the best your hair can be every day.
If you are unsatisfied with your hair for any reason, we offer complimentary adjustments to charged services for up to two weeks after your visit. We want you to love your hair! Please call us and we will reserve time for you ASAP with your stylist to address your concerns.
